Workplace Safety

HCS3000 - Workplace Health and Safety - A one (1) credit course, like this one, should only take you approximately 20-25 hours to complete; this equal about ONE month. So, from the date you START working on this course, you will have about one month to complete it.

This module is the prerequisite required to take Work Experience, RAP, or Green Certificate Programs.

Students will gain appropriate knowledge, skills, and attitudes in workplace health and safety preparing them for workplace orientation to off campus education learning experiences and the transition to the world of work.

HCS3010 - Workplace Safety Practices - ou will learn about workplace safety principles and practices, hazard management, and legislation. This course is a prerequisite for the Registered Apprenticeship Program and any off-campus experience.

HCS3010 is worth one credit and generally takes students between 17 and 25 hours to complete, though that time varies depending on the student.

This course requires prior completion of HCS3000: Workplace Safety Systems.
