Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP)

  • Available to students who are registered at the CAVE and to virtual students. CAVE students can speak to the teachers at the CAVE about becoming involved in RAP.  Virtual students can speak to their virtual supervisors.

  • The Trades offer good training, lots of opportunities, and job security.  See RAP brochure here.

  • While going to high school, a RAP student earns hours of on-the-job training as credit towards both an apprenticeship program and a high school diploma/credential.

  • The RAP program is a good way for high school students to see what’s out there and get some work experience in a trade of their choice.

  • If you would like to start work at a job earning income, the Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) is a great first step toward a career.

  • Students earn apprenticeship hours, wages, and up to 40 RAP credits towards their high school diploma.
