CAVE/Virtual Term 1 Final Exam - Assessment Information for Students

Traditional final exams have been cancelled for all core subjects for CAVE/Virtual students in grades 10-12 for January 2021. Please note, decisions regarding final exams in Term 2 have not been made; students enrolling in CAVE/Virtual courses in Term 2, or carrying over incomplete courses from Term 1, might be required to write traditional final exams.

For the January 2021 reporting period:

•             Teachers will still provide final assessments to culminate the course, this could include open book final assessments, optional exams, projects or other assessments to demonstrate student learning.

•             What this looks like in each class, will be communicated to students directly by their teachers.

•             Teachers may make adjustments to category weightings in PowerSchool. Any changes made will be communicated to students.
